FAQ

Frequently asked questions about my practice:

  • As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (#119510), I provide individual and couples therapy. My orientation is psychodynamic and relational, which means we will work in the here-and-now in the session, as well as unpack how your original relationships and wounding may be influencing how you behave in your present life. I specialize in healing relational wounds, trauma, and supporting those who seek deeper authenticity and personal growth.

  • I meet with my clients on a weekly basis. The length of treatment has a lot to do with each individual client, but therapy can last several months to several years.

  • As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I adhere to all professional confidentiality and ethical standards. Your information remains private, and we’ll review informed consent and telehealth/office protocols during our first meeting.

  • My standard fee is $250 for individuals and $300 for couples. While I’m not in-network with any insurance carriers I am happy to provide a receipt of our sessions called a “superbill” for out of pocket insurance reimbursement. I also offer a limited number of sliding-scale appointments for those with financial need

  • Please give at least 48 hours notice for cancellations to avoid a full-session fee.

  • Yes, telehealth sessions are available for clients outside the Bay Area or preferring to meet online. We’ll use a secure HIPAA-compliant platform.

  • Yes, I’ve worked with many cofounders in my couples practice as well as high-achieving individuals in high-impact work environments.

  • If you’re asking this question you may already be open to deeper growth. Therapy might be right if you feel stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply curious about a richer way to live. We’ll start with a consult to see if we’re a good match.
